The Amateur Sport Club Personal Accident Policy provides a cash benefit in the event of accidental bodily injury to club member irrespective of legal liability.

All Sportsmen know that accidents can happen and that they can result in hardship for club members and their families. Few clubs have made sufficient provisions for the needs of their members following a sporting accident, but insurance protection need not be expensive.

When would members be insured?
Cover is provided for amateur club members, i.e. members who receive no financial gain or payment other than reimbursement of travel or out of pocket expenses while they are:
  • Playing / officiating for the Club at home and away fixtures
  • Taking part in training organised by the Club
  • Spectating at the Clubs home or away Fixtures
  • Travelling (other than by air or motorcycle) to away fixtures as part of an organised party
  • Taking part, on the Clubs premises, in any social activity organised by the club
